Welcome to my new website!

Lily Holman Photography has not had a rebrand for a while so I thought, there’s nothing like the end of a busy summer to knuckle down and start afresh for the new year.

My lovely new logo has been designed by Tom Ameson in Bristol. Tom has been a real superstar! After long chats on the phone and Tom hearing my hesitant voice not really knowing what I like and don’t like, I can safely say Tom has nailed it. He has the patience of a KING! We made it and I absolutely love my new logo design. It feels right, and I want to share it with the world.

The past few years I have worked as a multi-genre photographer working with people, places, events, products and interiors. After gaining all this experience I have really narrowed down the kind of photography that I enjoy doing. As a photographer I do get asked “what do you photograph?” Well, it’s been hard to answer for years because I have done so many different things within the photographic world, I couldn’t narrow it down.

After a rebrand and new look I can safely say that I am a portrait photographer. Yes, that sounds slightly cliché, maybe slightly vague, but people are my thing! I love to photograph people in all different types of situations, from kids in school reading books for world book day, to clients at a Taylor Wimpey open day reading brochures. The possibilities are endless when it comes to portraits and I plan to envelope my world in what it has to offer.

Making the big step to go freelance over 10 years ago was a massive jump but I want to thank my friends and family for all their support. Photography is no easy job, the endless emails, developing new ideas, marketing yourself on social media (and trying to keep on top of it) can be an uphill struggle, but once you find your niche and keep doing what you ENJOY doing then it’s the most rewarding job in the world. I absolutely love what I do and will continue to grow, learn and love taking photos.
